Our Approach: Teamwork and Cooperation

Kim and Andrea have been good friends and business partners for over 6 years. Over the years, we have realized that training, riding, and lessons are simply better together.  We work cooperatively and interchangeably in our program, working together to give our clients the best possible training we can offer.  We have very similar approaches to riding and training, while complimenting each other with our different backgrounds and experiences.  Collectively we base our training on a system of better basics for both the horse and rider.  We tailor our lessons to fit the individual goals of each rider, from first timers to casual hobbyists to serious competitors.  We firmly believe that no matter what your individual goals, good movement and good communication is the right base for everyone!  Feel free to choose one trainer, or ride with both of us! Also, check out more information about our competitive team, Windfall Equestrian!  Different name, same trainers :)

About Kim.

Kim Klein has been teaching riding lessons and training horses for 15 years.  Her career began in the Chicago area at the barn where she grew up riding.  She taught lessons throughout high school and college, before relocating to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2011.  She has a very diverse background, having ridden hundreds of horses all over the world, including re-training off the track thoroughbreds, riding high performance show-jumpers in Europe, and starting young horses under saddle.  She believes in laying a strong and technically correct foundation that creates confidence and happiness in both horses and riders.

Micah has been riding with both Andrea and Kim for the last 7 years, and has spent thousands of hours with us in the riding arena, watching lessons, and helping out with horse camp over the years, and is a fabulous beginner instructor. She is energetic and fun, and gives our youngest generation a great foundation to move forward with in their riding career. She is currently attending Colorado State University where she is working towards a degree in business.
